Missoula, MT - Dayspring Restoration's "Regal Queen Revived" has won all the awards in the restoration category during the local 21st Annual Parade of Homes & Remodeling Tour. The tour was put-on by The Missoula Building Industry Association.
The "Regal Queen Revived" is a nationally renowned "Historic Place" that had gone through its share of owners who simply did not maintain its historic prowess. Over time the home became in desperate need for repairs, which current owners Mark and Suzie Estep were ale to provide.
Unfortunately, in March, the home became ravaged by a propane gas tank explosion, which is where Dayspring enters the picture. Dayspring Restoration provided the home with a comprehensive restoration, including state-of-the-art energy efficiency updates provided by Dr. Energy Saver in Missoula.
The judges of the tour are builders, interior designers and craftsman who hail from various parts of Montana. In their judging they consider these five areas: Notable Kitchen, Memorable Décor, Craftsmanship, Site Integration and Overall Design. Other winners at the tour included: the Student Built House for Notable Kitchen, Site Integration and Overall Design awards in Category A; and Dara Wilson of Daraâs Home Design for the Memorable Décor award and also tied with Edgell Building & Developmentâs The Westwood for the Craftsmanship award.
